Those who think they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness.
— Edward Stanley (1826-1893) from The Conduct of Life

If ingesting only healthy food were easy, we would all be living high-vitality lives. We wouldn’t be dealing with persistent health issues or that extra 10 lbs. we’re always trying to lose. Saying you eat green healthy food every day and actually doing it are two very different realities.

Until now. I’ve devised a way that makes eating green superfood a snap. In my 4 Means to Get Your Greens class, you will learn to make eating healthy leafy green food fun and easy.

Changing your eating habits goes well beyond sheer willpower. Managing a nutritional diet is a journey and this workshop is one, easy, fun step to help you along the path toward stellar health. You will learn to:

There’s no shortage of advice about what to eat. We hear about nutrient-dense superfoods, essential fats, and the one-to-two pounds of leafy greens we are to eat each day and wonder, who’s got the time?”

If you’re looking for a way to do all of this in minutes, you are in luck. In this 90-minute workshop, I show you how eating the best nutrient-dense live cuisine can be simple, quick and fun. You’ll learn four techniques to easily integrate green superfood into your meal planning. Pioneering the food revolution as a radical wellness coach, I offer the best live-food nutritional advice. At the same time, I honor your individual needs, allowing for your intuition to inform your dietary preferences.

4 Means to Get Your Greens Includes:

A Balanced Approach to Eating: Let’s get into this balanced approach to eating the best cuisine your body, mind, spirit, time constraints, and busy schedule have ever experienced.

Recipes: You will go home with a recipes, lots and lots of tested and approved recipes.

Demonstration: The Four Means approach can be done with basic kitchen utensils such as a knife, cutting board, spoon, spatula, nut milk bag, and a high-speed blender like a Vitamix or K-Tec. Preparation and clean-up take minutes, does not involve complicated recipes, is infinitely variable, nutrient dense, super delicious, and completely portable for those of us with active lives, which is everyone.

Green is a color associated with the good aspects of life,  yet, when it comes to dietary choices we generally have a reluctance to this food group. I’ve even heard people say, “they taste too healthy.”

While most of us know that lean protein and healthy carbs (like whole grains) give us energy, many are unaware of a group of superfoods that help our bodies process and unlock the energy from the foods we eat. These nutrition packed veggies are easy to find, delicious, and have one thing in common—they’re all green!

I have studied the diets of different cultures in search of the best food sources for optimal health. Greens always top the list. They are truly a superfood. A superfood is more nutrient dense calorie for calorie than another “regular” food and greens aptly fit that description!

Consider this: Our taste buds have been conditioned with the intensity of artificial flavors and sugars. We are under the influence of carefully crafted addictive flavors and food manufacturers. The food engineers have figured out how to tap into our brains. But if we can kick our addiction to junk food, we become better able to distinguish the fake stuff from the real and that chemical aroma will lose its power to hook us.

This 4 Means to Get Your Greens workshop is a healthy first step toward a journey of stellar health.

Green veggies offer a powerful dose of fiber, and vitamins and minerals, including antioxidants and phytochemicals, which have been shown to lower cholesterol, prevent heart disease, and may help reduce the risk of cancer.

One cup of spinach has more than 1000 percent of your daily recommendation of vitamin K (for strong bones) and almost 300 percent of the daily recommendation of vitamin A (20/20 vision anyone?).

Leafy greens have a high water volume, which helps you stay hydrated. One study showed participants’ metabolic rates increased 30 percent within ten minutes of drinking 17 ounces of water. Their high fiber content not only will leave you feeling full for longer, it also helps keep things moving in the GI tract.

Amp Your Weight Loss. All veggies offer multiple nutrients for very few calories, aiding in weight loss efforts. When it comes to greens, the more the merrier.

Boost Your Brain. One study found women who ate the most leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables had brains that were one to two years “younger” than those who ate fewer. So, I guess it is a no-brainer, eat more greens.

Promote Skin Health. Phytochemicals and antioxidants in green veggies can help protect your skin against UV damage by countering free radicals in your body to lessen the deterioration of skin’s vital components, like collagen and elastin. Hello greens and gorgeous skin!
